LOOKING FOR MOTIVATED STUDENTS

Cubberley Education Library is seeking motivated students interested in doing a wide variety of tasks including

pulling library materials for transfer to/from education library
processing incoming library materials
assisting at the public services desk with charging and discharging materials
shelving and dusting library materials
assisting staff with scheduled tasks and other projects as assigned.

Job Title:             Part Time Student Assistant
Wage:                  12.00 per hour
Days/Hours:        Shifts avail: Monday-Sunday; days, evenings, weekends
Location:             Cubberley Library, Stanford, CA

Qualifications: A qualified candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to maintain a courteous and helpful manner, and be attentive to detail. Must have good physical stamina and be able to push heavy book trucks. The candidate must be able to communicate very well in both oral and written English and be able to work independently.
Undergraduates STRONGLY preferred. Previous library experience is preferred but not essential.
