Stack Division - Student Assistant

The Stanford University Green Library Stack Department is now hiring students for part-time employment.

Starting Pay: $11.80/hour
Work Schedule: Up to 19 hours per week

DUTIES INCLUDE :

Primary responsibility for sorting, shelving and shifting library materials. Assist in various book transfer projects. Other duties as assigned..

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to communicate in English orally and in writing. Ability to learn the Library of Congress and Dewey Decimal library shelving classifications. Ability to push fully loaded book trucks and to lift standard 1.5 cubic foot boxes weighing 35-40 pounds.
