Homeless World Cup
The 2006 event was in Cape Town, South Africa, 23 - 30 September. The 5th Homeless World Cup is in Copenhagen 29 July - 4 August 2007. At least 48 countries and 500 homeless players participated in 2006. Player profiles. For the 2005 Edinburgh event, the U.K. Government denied visas to the teams from Cameroon, Kenya, Nigeria, Burundi and Zambia. South Africa and Namibia were able to attend.
