  • Ethnologue. An encyclopedic reference work cataloging all of the world’s 6,912 known living languages. Ethnolgue print is shelved in the Info Center P106.E8.
  • The world atlas of language structures. WALS is a large database of structural (phonological, grammatical, lexical) properties of languages gathered from descriptive materials (such as reference grammars). The print and CD-ROM version is located in the library.
