Gloss ordinaire, read about the Glossa ordinaria and Nicolas of Lyra (Library Congress uniform author form is Nicolas de Lyra ca 1270-1349) in Lexikon des Mittelalters Stanford only (Search for "Nicolaus de Lyra"). The PL edition of the Gloss ordinaire (vols. 113-114), and all editions later than 1590, are not recommended. The most important edition is:

Stanford has film of Nicolas of Lira, Postillae Litteralis in Bibliam. Paris. Bib. Nat. ms. lat. 359. MFILM N.S. 14418. This is one of 70 surviving, complete manuscripts of the Postillae.
