Free Overleaf Pro Account for all Stanford students, faculty, staff
Sign up now for your free Overleaf pro account. As part of the Stanford University Overleaf group, you have access to a collaborative editing and writing tool for LaTeX projects. Overleaf integrates with Mendeley, Git, Plot.ly and many publishers including PLOS, PeerJ, SPIE, and Springer. Recent enhancements include spell checking for additional languages and integration with the new IEEE Collabratec platform.
Don’t know LaTeX? Need to get started? Overleaf provides rich text editing options for those who are not familiar with LaTeX and a free online course to get you started.
For faculty, teaching accounts are available to create, distribute and review assignments.
The one-year trial hosted by the Stanford University Libraries resulted in the adoption of Overleaf by over 2,000 users who created over 14,000 LaTeX documents. Based on the information from users who filled out a profile, we determined that 60% of users are graduate students, 30% are undergraduates and 10% are faculty, staff, or research scientists.
