Larry Dahl recognized for 35 years of service

On May 25th, at the Multicultural Springfest here on campus, our own Larry Dahl was one of the many Stanford staff recognized for serving 30 to 50 years at the University. At the celebration each honoree received a certificate + an engraved plaque to honor their service to Stanford with the highlight of shaking hands with Provost Persis Drell on stage. Larry has worked 35 years in the Stanford Libraries. For just under half of that time he worked in the Stacks Division, often measuring collections and overseeing collection moves, culminating with an appointment to Head of Stacks Division from 1991 through 1997. Larry has also spent time working in Access Services and, starting 2001, he has worked exclusively in SUL Facilities. Please join us in celebrating Larry’s long and illustrious career.
