Students, get ready to take a little study break! The Stanford Libraries will once again host its annual De-Stress Fest.

Stop by one of the participating libraries on Wednesday, June 6 where you’ll be able to participate in a number of de-stressing activities, one of which includes rock painting, which is inspired by the Kindness Rocks project. (Some inspirational rocks have already been placed in the libraries listed below. If you happen to find one, take a photo, share on social media using #RockonStanford and share the positive sentiments with others.)

This year's participating libraries include: Green Library, Terman Engineering Library, Harold A. Miller Marine Biology Library at Hopkins Marine Station, and the Robin Li and Melissa Ma Science Library. Activities will vary at the different libraries.

  • Green Library will be hosting activities between 3:00-5:00 pm.
The horses are here! Highlights of this year include mini horses, rock painting, spin art, and a make-your-own, ice cream sundae bar. A variety of table activities including games, puzzles, and more will be available inside Green Library throughout the event, including after event-hours. See a Schedule of events. Mini horses will be at the event from 3:00-4:00 pm.
  • The Robin Li and Melissa Ma Science Library, and Terman Engineering Library will both be hosting an inspirational rock painting station from 3:00-5:00 pm. Look for Terman Library's event just outside the libary, while the Li and Ma library event will be held inside.
  • The Harold A. Miller Marine Biology Library will have an assortment of de-stressing activities from 2:00-5:00 pm.
Look for rock painting, coloring books, and coffee and tea.

Stay tuned for more information to come!
