Special Collections is proud to announce the availability of the Philip P. Choy Papers. Philip Choy (1926-2017) was a historian, author, teacher, and architect who devoted himself to documenting the history of Chinese immigration to the United States. His collection reflects a deep contribution to the research, preservation and education of Chinese American history.

Technical & Access Services is thrilled to announce that Sarah Forzetting has accepted the position of Associate Director of the Acquisitions and Collections Services Department. Sarah joined Stanford Libraries in 2014 as the Acquisitions Ordering & Fiscal Librarian. In 2019, she was hired as the Digital Collections Librarian, responsible for reviewing and negotiating e-resource licenses on behalf of Stanford Libraries.
It’s my pleasure to share the news that Cory Lown and Nick Budak are joining the staff of Digital Library Systems and Services as Digital Library Software Developers on the Access and Discovery Team. Cory and Nick’s first day will be October 4, and they will be working alongside Chris Beer, Gary Geisler, and Camille Villa, as well as our other colleagues across DLSS and Stanford Libraries.
