A new way to use arXiv.org
arXiv.org is a great resource for pre-prints in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Quantitative Biology, Quantitative Finance, Statistics, Electrical Engineering and Systems Science, and Economics. While the PDF format of the pre-prints hosted there is great for offline reading or printing, it's not the best choice for online viewing, and now there is a great alternative in arXiv Vanity (https://www.arxiv-vanity.com/).
arXiv Vanity takes an arXiv URL (e.g., https://arxiv.org/pdf/1908.04788.pdf, "de Sitter Vacua from Ten Dimensions") and converts that PDF to a dynamic webpage: https://www.arxiv-vanity.com/papers/1908.04788/. This means that you can view the paper on any device or screen, and it will automatically adjust to fit the area. arXiv Vanity is under development, and all the code has been shared on GitHub if you're interested in seeing where you can take this tool.
If you love arXiv but find reading PDFs on your phone or tablet frustrating, be sure to check out arXiv Vanity; they even have a bookmarklet so you can add the tool to your browser and covert directly from arXiv. Visit https://www.arxiv-vanity.com/ to try it for yourself!
