Stanford Libraries welcomes Laurence Cefalu
I am pleased to announce Laurence Cefalu started today as the facilities specialist for maintenance and security and will report to Jacob Cohn. Laurence graduated from Arizona State University in 2018 with a degree in political science and a certification in applied business data analytics. Laurence also earned his certified associate in project management from the Project Management Institute. After graduating from ASU, he served as the Administrative Coordinator with the Haas Center for Public Service. Laurence’s core duties included facilities management, first-line technology support, and financial processing. Before joining Haas, he built an extensive background in facilities and administrative operations including, working for the City of Monterey, and interning at U.S. Senator Jeff Flake’s Office in Arizona.
Laurence grew up in Monterey, California where he regularly visits his friends and family. In his free time, he enjoys paddle boarding, practicing martial arts, reading, and traveling.
