Stanford Libraries welcomes Ranelle Sharma!

I am thrilled to announce that Ranelle Sharma will be joining the Stanford Libraries as our Facilities Specialist for Maintenance & Security later this month. Under Jacob Cohn’s leadership, Ranelle will coordinate repair and maintenance activities, support the security and building access programs, administer the work request system and maintain our scheduled work calendar among other responsibilities.

Ranelle has been with LBRE Buildings & Grounds Maintenance over the last seven years where she undertook a variety of responsibilities within the department, but most notably enjoyed improving operational processes/practices, and directly supporting the maintenance staff’s work and development. She recently earned her Facility Management Professional credential, and in this new role, hopes to cultivate solid experience in buildings management and working with the greater Stanford community.

On a personal note, Ranelle shared: I am a child of East Palo Alto, and on the side, an amateur artist, an enthusiastic patron of local taquerias, and just started learning how to fish. I’m really looking forward to joining the Stanford Libraries Team!

Ranelle’s first day will be Monday, February 14, 2022.
