Bon voyage, Ali!

The Terman Engineering Library bids farewell and best of luck to Ali Krogman, who is moving to a role as a UX Designer with Stanford Web Services on March 20.

Since joining Stanford Libraries in November 2018 from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Ali has been engaged in numerous projects to the betterment of the digital services at Stanford Libraries. Most notably, Ali was one of the lead architects of the transition to LibGuides, one of the primary subject librarians on the Online Experience Group and Stanford Digital Repository Service Team, and one of the leading graphic design and event planners in the Library. On top of all of those major projects and initiatives Ali was also an exemplary liaison librarian in engineering, participating heavily in the space redesign of Terman Library during 2020 and starting projects such as the Sci-Fi Book Club and Collection.

The staff of Terman Library and the Science and Engineering Resource Group have dearly enjoyed to work with Ali over the past few years. While we all know that Ali is moving on to a project role that aligns with her passions and interests, we will miss her and her energetic and bubbly presence in the Libraries. Ali is one of the most conscientious and forward thinking user experience designers in libraries, not to mention an excellent subject librarian, and she departs libraries (for now!) to take on an expanded role in user experience and graphic design within Stanford. Congrats Ali on your new role!
