The Music Library may accept donations of music materials that do not duplicate existing holdings. 

The Archive of Recorded Sound may accept donations of sound recordings in older formats that do not duplicate existing holdings. The Archive may also accept archival collections of unpublished materials, corespondence, business records, photographs, scrap books, and other items relating to composers and performers, the Bay Area music scene, and the sound recording industry.

Music Library and Archive of Recorded Sound staff cannot provide appraisals of music materials.
