Deposit a research dataset
The SDR makes it easy to:
- Comply with funder mandates and make data openly accessible
- Get a DOI for supplemental data and code to be linked from journals or other publishing channels
- Add one's ORCID iD to a deposit to ensure correct attribution
- Select a license from a long list of options
- Deposit large files via our Globus integration with the online deposit application.

Get a DOI
A DOI may be obtained for any deposit submitted at sdr.stanford.edu.
Subscription services are also available for system-level integration with the DataCite API in order to automatically generate DOIs at scale.
