Deposit an open access publication

With the open access policy now in place, faculty are invited to deposit open versions of their publications where they may be preserved and accessed by generations of scholars to come.

Deposit a research dataset

The SDR makes it easy to:

  • Comply with funder mandates and make data openly accessible
  • Get a DOI for supplemental data and code to be linked from journals or other publishing channels
  • Add one's ORCID iD to a deposit to ensure correct attribution
  • Select a license from a long list of options
  • Deposit large files via our Globus integration with the online deposit application.

Get a DOI

A DOI may be obtained for any deposit submitted at sdr.stanford.edu.

Subscription services are also available for system-level integration with the DataCite API in order to automatically generate DOIs at scale.
